Hot on the heals of the positive employment figures in the US at the start of the month, latest UK figures are showing the same positive trend. Support for older workers, and new reforms to promote flexible working, which came into effect last month are thought to be behind some of the gains.

UK unemployment has fallen to 6.5% in the three months to May, the lowest since the last quarter of 2008, figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) today have shown.  For more details read this article from the UK “Recruiter” magazine.
