About The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of software and hardware solutions for studio and live sound markets. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the pro-audio industry’s leading technology companies during a period of exciting and rapid growth.

About You
The successful applicant will be an experienced live or studio sound engineer with a background in sales or a customer facing business or support role. You will have a good understanding of sales channels including online, direct and indirect and will be confident interacting with live sound resellers, end users and business owners. Most importantly, you will have an excellent knowledge of current pro-audio technology, especially DSP, software, plugins and mixing products as well as production applications and workflows in live, recording and mixing. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication, presentation, planning and reporting skills and should be able to provide first class product demonstrations to customers. In addition, you should speak fluent English and ideally at least basic German or any other European language. This role will require regular travel throughout Europe.

Richard has worked in the professional audio industry since graduating from Warwick University, England in 1986 with a BSc Hons in Engineering Science. As a school music scholar with a strong interest in recording, Richard’s career took its own natural course. Initially working in direct sales of high-tech recording equipment supplying the UK music, recording and TV sectors, Richard moved on to work for the Japanese manufacturer Fostex where he became sales and marketing manager for the company’s range of professional audio products. There he spearheaded the development of a number of ground-breaking digital audio products designed for the film and post-production markets. During this time Richard worked on numerous product development and marketing assignments in Europe, Asia, the USA and the UK.
