Job Description

About the role
You will be developing embedded software in C working with the software and hardware development teams and with the R&D test team.
Your code will add new functionality and fix existing problems, and your responsibilities will include developing new code, writing firmware to assist with hardware debugging, and providing software support for the whole product life cycle from prototype to production.

About you
You will have
– A degree in Electronics or Computer Science
– Experience of developing software for embedded products.
– Strong C embedded programming skills
– Experience in a structured software development environment
– Strong hardware debugging skills and the ability to work with low level drivers.

Experience in some of the following will be advantageous
– ARM based processors
– Linux
– DSP and audio algorithm knowledge
– Use of MATLAB to simulate signal processing algorithms
– Analog Devices SHARC
– Experience of XMOS devices
– Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
– Software development tools such as Git, JIRA, Agile
