About the role

In this key management position, you will take full responsibility for all sales and operations for the French on-shore market and within the company’s existing susidiary operation in Paris. A key strategic focus will be on the leadership and development of the organisation and team, as well as on building out an effective indirect sales channel and distribution network.

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable track record in leading sales and operations, with a strong focus on business development in the secure communications, access control of surveillance or related market
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in sales and management (regional, national, or European), developing, and leading direct sales, projects, distribution and channel sales partners
  • Experience managing all sales channels, with a particular focus on an indirect sales channel
  • Experience and familiarity with complex technical products and solutions
  • Demonstrable track record in business planning and execution of strategies for building top-line sales and development of teams and organisations.
  • Hands-on approach, proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plans
  • Established network of contacts in France within the secure communications or closely related market with distribution partners, solution partners, system integrators, architects, consultants and engineers, end-users
  • Strong team management and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of global organization
  • Strategic mind and operational excellence
  • Clear and strategic thinker with a goal-oriented personality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and French and ideally some previous international experience or exposure
  • Ability and willingness to travel

About you

Already familiar with the securities sector, you will be responsible for ensuring there is an established and well managed sales organisation and multichannel network in place. The successful candidate will ideally come from a secure communications or closely related market and have a good understanding around audio, security, access control, IT and video surveillance technologies. To excel in this role, you should have a strategic mind, strong commercial and financial awareness coupled with operational excellence. You should possess strong organisational, team management and leadership skills to develop, direct and motivate sales teams to achieve long term sustainable growth in the region. You should also have exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills to build and maintain effective relationships and stakeholder engagement. Regular travel will be required and in addition, it is essential that you speak fluent English as well as French as your native language.
