Helping D’Addario to find key talent to put in place their Germany and France subsidiaries.
When the relationship between D’Addario and their distributor across Germany and France came to an end, the company needed to appoint key leaders across both countries to establish their direct subsidiaries.
Due to volatility of the Musical Instrument (MI) retail market – with tough challenges from online retailers – our client was looking for two individuals who fully understood the landscape, were able to transition the termination and at the same time put in place a whole new organisation.
With a tight deadline of three months to find the right person for Germany, and France not far behind, this was a search that had little margin for error.
With little time to waste, upon instruction Interfacio immediately began a multi-channel recruitment process covering both countries. Whilst the initial applications were being received from reactive sources, our team simultaneously began a proactive headhunt which included aggressive mapping of the German market.
From this mapping we created a shortlist, which we interviewed. From the results of the interviews we submitted three high calibre professionals, one of whom was chosen by our client – and all in a very short space of time. France followed quickly behind with the same approach, resulting in a similarly excellent result for all parties.
Interfacio has built a strong relationship with D’Addario, which at the time was a new client. Because of this investment, it was a delight to work together as discussions were productive, ideas were shared, communication was smooth and concerns were allayed.
