A global innovator and market leader in touring and installation loudspeaker and related technology is adding a senior sales and business development manager to its growing Singapore team. A professional with tenured experience in the premium segment of the pro audio industry, the successful candidate will manage a focused team of sales professionals to identify, qualify, pursue and close business with distributors, rental companies, venues, houses of worship, and other end users across SE Asia and Oceania. This motivated and creative individual will live in Singapore and travel internationally approximately 2 weeks per month.
Location: Central APAC (Singapore/Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia)
Salary: € 85k – € 110k plus bonus depending on background and experience

About the Role
Our client is hiring a sales director to drive their sales throughout the APAC market. You will be responsible for motivating and supporting local distributors toward increasing market share and driving sales into touring and venues. The role will involve extensive travel (2-3 weeks per month) throughout the territory.
You are a professional with experience in the premium segment of the pro audio or similar live production industry and as such you will come with an established track record of high-end systems sales in the APAC region.
The successful candidate will possess the personality and insight to directly identify, approach, cultivate, and close business with, local rental companies, SI’s, venues, event managers, government agencies, religious organizations and others.
You will have great written and verbal communications, have experience across various country and cultural boundaries. You will be self-motivated and able to excel working independently from a home office – in concert with the European headquarters
Ideally you will be conversant with high end SR products/industry/best practices and be able to train, design and commission medium to large scale speaker systems in cooperation with local distribution partners.
Requirements / desirable experience or capabilities:
- A proactive sales aptitude combined with cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to prospect, qualify and directly pursue market opportunities
- Experience in the APAC premium live production industry.
- Positive and energetic disposition
- Self-starter, self motivated and able to work independently
- Able to travel approx.2-3 weeks per month
- Ideally proficient with Smaart, EASE, EASERA, Matlab and array configuration software
